What Is Considered A "WIN"?

A WIN is a first place, Champion or Reserve Champion in an OPEN class at an Agricultural Show. An open class is a class that doesn't restrict entrants (Height specifications are not restrictions). Whether a horse is a Show Hack or a Show Hunter is not a restriction either.

Example of an OPEN Class: Open Hack 15 hands n.e (Not Exceeding) 15.2 hands - if you win 1st place in this class it is considered a win.

Example of a RESTRICTED Class: Adult Rider Open Hack 15 hands and over (rider must be 17 years & over)

Only ONE win from each show is counted as a win - For example, if you place 1st in your height class and then go on to win Champion or Reserve Champion only one of those placings can be recorded as a performance - Generally champion looks best on record.

If your horse/pony goes on to get a win in its breed class or similar at the same show then that win can also be recorded as it is in a different competitive section even though it is at the same show.
